I've been seeing some weird shit around my way lately. Not too far from me is a small private airfield. I've been living at my current location for several years now. All of a sudden, in the middle of an economic downturn, for the past several months small/ light/ private aircraft has been flying over my house. At the same time, we've been getting an epidemic of narcotic use. All the while, they're trying to push medical marijuana.

Also, when I'm tending to my yard, I've seen several Mercedes driving past my home. Never saw the cars before, but in my area, Birkshire Hathaway has been buying up property. Buffett only invests in things that seem solid and will provide a consistent return on investment. I assume these Mercedes belong to real estate investors, bankers. All looking to pump money into one of the few remaining last bastions of stable localized economies while other states collapse.

Coincidence? I think not.
