The Venezuelan National Assembly, said Monday, will not accept the launch of the crypto currency Petro by the government of Nicolás Maduro, because it violates the Magna Carta de Venezuela... According to the vice President of the National Assembly: Petro is not a Criptomoneda and represents a future purchase and sale contract whose underlying asset is a barrel of oil. Tomorrow the AN will declare null its emission therefore it would not be enforceable to the Republic for violating the Constitution of the Republic of Venezuela and the Organic Law of hydrocarbons in its article 3. Similarly, the Venezuelan National Assembly recommends that foreign investors do not invest in the crypto Petro currency as these investment will have no guarantee from a new government.
