On the top of the last part before the downhill began, I was so wet and exhausted and hadnt drank any water on the 75km from La Rapita to Benacassim. I was really stressed from being tired and dehydration creates anger. I rested the bike against the barriers on the hard shoulder and jumped over to sit dowm for a while. I noticed how my reptile mind and the ego was full on and It was completely in control.
Heading south to Granada from Barcelona
Ive been in quite a few situations before but none like an apocolypse with no cash and no chance to get any either and worst of all no weed of hash 😝
I sat and managed to realise the mind and so I had to Close the eyes, surrender and take just one deep breath and then why noy another. I hadnt meditated since a few days, but the reward came within 30mins of this rest on the side of the road.
Benacassin..
I was on the main road and at the top of the hill and to the left was a chance to go down to the coast on a costal road to castello and the name of the village was already familuar but I didnt know where from.
I wanted to change the scenery of having riden just straight roads the whole day and as I started to go downthe very steep slope, I soon worked out that my breaks are quite ineffective!
Because I have the dogs, Im limited to 25km ish anhour top speed, so I have to brake all the time to let the dogs keep up. Previous parts of the trip my hands hurt alot just from constant braking!
The bike I have is very very shit, its been stolen Twice in Germany but I found it dumped some meters away itsthat bad. I had kinda given up with it and was now also pushing it down the hill which turns out to be just as fun as pushing up hill. I was was really contemplating to just throw it down off the cliff to the side of me 😝
But then I would have to lightwieght my rucksack which means abandoning things..
I got down to the coast, and who do I meet, its the Guardia.. Im happy I went here because I could get some money sent via western union and didnt have to go to castello that day. The guardia all just spoke to me inperfect English, after I made the first conversation asking where the western union was. They were 3 in a 4x4 and obviously trained for tourists to be mannered.
After they left, I went around the corner toenter the coast from the hill, and it was a real empty deadzone of a long sandy beach, bars, hotels, and all the palmtress ect.
I knew I was going to have to stay the night and wait for the correos to open to get the money before even western union is effected by this virus. I was asking everyone I saw, "Any Weed?" and as I got near a supermarket, I saw a guy with his dog crossing the road and asked him, you can sometimes see the people who you would get along with.
He said "I hope so Later, but I do live at a Squat if you want to have the company of some nice people in the Apocolypse atleast"
People are avoiding eachother here like theres a plage happening..
and if you just read these different webisites first sentances after a first search, the answer is infront of your eyes..
He was getting some beers and as I knew I would be able to get money the next day, I spent the last money saved for dogfood on 24 cans of beer - 5 euros🤣
So since early yesterday evening I am staying at a small squat with two Spanish guys and guy from Czechia. They were so surprised when two people came back from the supermarket during 'El Crisis' and was reall y happy they said later to have fresh company.
They were even happier when I produced a small bag of columbian mushrooms out my bag and some lucy I had since a while!
We then arranged some weed, and there was a chance we would have to go to castello for it on the bike, but it was possible to get some here. So we had in total 36beers, nice weed, some mushys and if needed a trippy trippy.
The guy I met is friends with Manu Chou and playsguitar quite often at partys and raves, he isvery good at classic spanish guitar and flamenco. Manu chou when he met him first said he wanted to gmcut his fingers off because he plays so fast😝
We had a great evening, fireplace in the lounge was lighting the room and we drank and smoked alot, and made music. One then suggested we take a trip but it wasnt really the right vibe for that. It turned out anyway that he hadnt done phycadelics before and wanted to try it.
I suggested he took the mushrooms instead and after a while of deciding and realizing we were all drunk, we just shared them out between us. It added to tbe night thats for sure, I was surprised I felt something from them but my body was tired and they worked nicely.
I didnt need to ask the guy whos first time it was if he felt them, it was clear he was enjoying them!
Around 11pm I had to go to bed,and I slept so dam good. Today I went to the city to get the money but ofcourse my phone was dead and the code on my email!! And in the virus 'crisis', evento askto plug a phone in somewhere is not allowed.
I managed it, but after stress and also a problem with the computer.. Today whilst walking with the dogs to the village, I was stopped 5 times. As I got back one of the guys was going to get water and to go find me because they wernt sure if I knew the way back and had been told to go home by the police.
Trains have now stopped too..
and in the post office the women said to someone that they might not be open tomorrow aswell. Its quite obvious that now is the happening of the endgame of people being remotely free, and even here, the police knows them and today brought 4 breadrolls with hamand cheese for us incase we had no food..
My guess is that even supermarkets will close and the people getting rations from government.
This is exactly what it will come too, the people will thank the ones who got them all in the trouble in the first place, and the circle will go on.
My legs are sore today, but tomorrow I need to head off. I saw at the trainstation a train to valencia, but maybe tomorrow its not working, I hope it is.
Im decided that I will go the whole way onthe coastal roads and avoid mountains. If it was a plesure trip, I would but this is about steady kms each day and blagging the police, and Id be better off along the coastline because many english live there all the way down the south.
Its the quick snow balling of the governments decisons that is the scariest part, the virus I have yet to see in real life and doesnt scare me.
Tomorrow I will take photos of this place and blog it, its an open Squat for peopme to go to but not easy to find!
Now I sleep and will wake up fresh and leave tomorrow after siesta, I hope its patially cloudy because the dogs dont run in the heat 😔 but I could do with charging the phone!
Good night
and dont let an apparent virus make you become less human! Homeless people in italy are being treated like criminals. Literally being thrown in jail. Be kind and Think for Yourselfs in Judgements.

Greets from Greece , stay sane , stay fearless .
For some extra braking power on the bike you could stick a tree branch between the frame fork on the back wheel . Just be careful with tire wear , use soft wood . Not recommended when you already have bad tires do . Keep the speed very low or else things gonna start burning . Better use this only as a last resource , like when your bike breaks stop working all together .
