God has given each of us an oar, a gift, a calling And, just like the rowers in a canoe, each of us has a vital place to serve or a unique role to perform.
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and all members one of another. Romans 12: 5
In order for this to happen, God has given each of us a unique gift. The combination of our gifts working in synchrony should give such a radiance of joy that the whole world stands up and notices it.
God has given each of us an oar, a gift, a call. And, just like the rowers in a canoe, each of us has a vital place to serve or a unique role to perform. In each oar is our footprint, our own individual circuit, designed by God himself.
He places each of us in a community, more specifically, in a local church, with a divine purpose.
He fits us next to others with a similar mission and calls us family, team, Church. No person is called to fulfill his mission alone; God did not design it that way. He created us to do the work of the church as a team!
A complete symphony under the direction of a master conductor will always sound infinitely better than a single man band. As we discover and develop our spiritual gifts and learn to row in rhythm as a team, we will be amazed at how much farther and faster we will go, and with fewer wounds.
