It's amazing to participate again in the class five (Granny square). I have learned so much about granny square and some items I could make using granny square.

I would like to share my steps by answering each questions presented in the homework. I didn't use videos to present my work because I was out of network coverage and so I couldn't upload.

Make the first round of granny fabric. Support your activity with videos or collages and at least one photo with the finished work.

I started by making a knot🪢 from where my work started from. I am already familiar with making a knot. I went ahead to make 4 chains which I later joined to the last point of my chain to create a ring.

Going further, I made a chain of three points and two double crochet to go ahead.

I continued with a chain of two and I made three double crochet stitches. I repeated the process over time to form four groups of double crochet stitches that are separated from each other by two chain stitches. The last point was where l closed the first round of granny squares with a slip stitch.

Make the second round of granny squares. Support your activity with videos or collages and at least one photo of the finished work.

Starting the second round, I made a chain of three and after that, a double crochet. I then passed the loop backwards and made a chain and two double crochet to form the first group.

I went further to create a single chain stitch and made three double crochet stitches beside it, then I made two chains which created the square shape.

In same space, I continued in creating another group of three double crochet stitches. I also repeated this same process till the end of my fabric and closed it up with a slip stitch.

Make the third round of granny squares. Support your activity with videos or collages and at least one photo of the finished work.

This is the repetition of what has been done in the second round of granny squares which is making the first group of double crochets in reverse to the left.

I made apart each group of double crochets by making a chain stitch and at every corner, I made three double crochets, Ialso made two chain stitches and made three double crochets in the same corner. I repeated the process till I finished with slip stitch.

Finalizing my work I used a scissors to cut off the end point of my granny square and trim the beginning of my work. I also used the scissors to remove the rough edges around my work, this helped me achieve a neat work.
