Crooked forest was planted in the early 1930s. The area of the reserve is about 1, 8 hectares. Naturally, it is protected by the state, as it is a natural monument. Curved trees about 400 pieces. At a height of about 25-30 centimeters from the ground, the trunk of a curved tree suddenly bends towards the north, and then, repelling an arc, returns to its standard position.
All the trees in the curved forest are almost identical. Entry into this territory is carried out only by special passes. Needless to say, cutting down or any other damage to these trees is punishable by law. According to some visitors of the curved forest, there is no sound of birds singing and the sounds of insects.
