According to the blockchain's native time stamps, it is now the 5th of the month again. So, it's time for the 3rd Developer Delegation Day.
As a reminder, the point of the developer delegation day is to say thank you to the developers who are helping to build the ecosystem. Here's a quote from the original post:
On the 5th of each month, community members will delegate 5 STEEM Power (SP) to a Steem developer of their choice. This regular support helps sustain and incentivize the developers who will become the backbone of the Steem ecosystem.
Here are the developers who I have delegated to during the first two months:
Developer Account | Last Delegation Date | Last Delegation Amount | Current Total |
---|---|---|---|
@awitness | 2024-09-05 | 5 SP | 5.011 SP |
@michelangelo3 | 2024-10-05 | 5 SP | 5 SP |
@moecki | 2024-10-05 | 5 SP | 10.011 SP |
@steemchiller | 2024-10-05 | 5 SP | 10.011 SP |
@the-gorilla | 2024-10-05 | 5 SP | 10.011 SP |
Here are this month's delegations:
And here is the summary after this month's delegations:
Developer Account | Last Delegation Date | Last Delegation Amount | Current Total |
---|---|---|---|
@awitness | 2024-09-05 | 5 SP | 5.022 SP |
@michelangelo3 | 2024-11-05 | 5 SP | 10.011 SP |
@moecki | 2024-11-05 | 5 SP | 15.034 SP |
@steemchiller | 2024-11-05 | 5 SP | 15.034 SP |
@the-gorilla | 2024-11-05 | 5 SP | 15.034 SP |
(all delegations are from the "remlaps-pb" account)
My delegation reasoning is largely the same as last month:
@awitness made a strong introduction back in September, but then went into stealth mode, so I'm waiting to see if (s)he reemerges with the planned SteemPet project.
- brings us this utility for searching the Steem blockchain; and
- provides tag statistics; and
- offers another page with user/account statistics.
@moecki does more than I can list, but we can start with his
- very reliable public API;
- an alternate Steem front-end; and
- many constructive contributions to Steem-related conversations and open source efforts (including my Steem Curation Extension and a witness-led effort for a proposal to burn steem from SPS funds.)
@steemchiller brings us
- SteemWorld; and
- SDS
Finally, @the-gorilla has been steadily at work improving the state of the condenser software that's used by Steemit and others. He also provides an alternate Steem front-end, and a club status tool.
Last month, the number of #ddd contributors increased from 1 person to 4. It would be great to see it grow again this month. If you have a developer who you would like to thank, here's your chance. Please consider establishing a habit of giving a small monthly delegation to help support the developers who support the ecosystem.
Thank you for your time and attention.
As a general rule, I up-vote comments that demonstrate "proof of reading".
