Initial Campaign Post Here!

Revisions to the Campaign!

After discussions with many Steemians the initial Campaign is being updated as follows:

* Instead of an RV or School bus the goal of the campaign now is to get a used Party Bus, convert it to an RV and Re-Title The Bus as an RV. Most Party Buses (like the one in the picture) are already equipped with White/Grey Water systems and toilets. They are also usually equipped with DC power throughout and sometimes even AC Power already built in. This will make the conversion to an RV much easier (and cheaper).

* It has been suggested, multiple times, to me that the campaign Not end after 30 days. Instead the campaign should run until the goal is met. So the campaign is going to run indefinitely and regular updates (at least a few a week) will be made until the Steemit Bus is a reality.

* It occurred to me that since (at least part of) this campaign is to benefit me that I should have some "skin in the game" other than just organizing it. So I have begun investing a little money to promote this campaign. I will list, in the update posts, what I personally invest into this campaign in a section titled "Personal Investment".

* I will also be investing money, time, labor into acquiring/wrapping/converting to RV the Steemit Bus. I should be to work driving for Uber in the next week or so and I will start putting my own money into the Campaign Coffers to help get the Steemit Bus on the road quicker.

Personal Investment

This is where I will list all personal expenses I invest into this campaign. This section will be in all future "Steemit Bus/RV Campaign Update" posts as well.

* $20 in Twitter Promotions for the GoFundMe post!

* $50 for Steemit Business Cards to promote Steemit and drive people to my blog to see this campaign.

Total Donations to date!

So far donations have been slow coming, but they are coming. They have all been via Steem/SBD so far. All SBD Donations are being converted (immediately) to Steem for two reasons: 1) It is easier to keep track of what is Donations and what is normal earnings if all donations are converted to Steem, 2.) The price of steem will likely continue to rise over the course of this campaign, making it easier to hit the goal.

* 10 SBD from @bulleth (Converted to 7.646 Steem)

* 79 SBD from @benjojo (Giving Steem Initiative) (Converted to 60.728 Steem)

* 176.02 Steem (approximately $219.15 at current market price)
