What is Crowdini?

Crowdini is a question and answer game. We ask you to answer one question a day and give you points based on how your answer compares to the majority answer.

We have incorporated Steemit in a new innovative way. Read more about Crowdini and how we have incorporated Steemit in our intro post here.

At the end of the game the top 3 in points split 90% of the prize pool and all other players who voted on every question for that game will split 10% of the prize pool. The minimum prize pool is 80 STEEM.

It is designed to be something you can do in a few seconds a day but hopefully sparks conversation and thought.

To be honest I don't really know as I get so few calls it's hard to find those I've missed

Hey, just wanted to let you know because of the way we implemented Steemit currently the autoupvotes are all 100% VP. However we are going to move to Steemconnect soon and then at that time you will be able to choose the % you want to autoupvote.

For most of our players this isn't an issue but you have enough SP that it might. :)

I don't really mind. Happy to help

Well thank you! I certainly appreciate it and I think our players do to!

I know I appreciate it Steve. Thank you and Happy New Year 🎉

As a fellow player and a minnow- thank you!!

Well, a significant other. Family member wasn't right, but it felt more right than friend. Hopefully he'll be a family member soon 😊

I'm rooting for you!

I thought it would be spam, but it was actually someone calling to schedule a phone interview

My favorite comment! A nice surprise!

I answered

I've been getting a lot of spam calls from numbers with the same area code and prefix as my phone number. I haven't lived in my phone's area code for several years, so I can be pretty sure these are calls that I want to "miss."

The robocalls these days are so much more sophisticated.

A robo call. I don't even answer my phone anymore, unless one of my Special rings goes off. I get 10 calls a day, from different phone numbers from this guy that wants to sell me Viagra! 😱

Do you apply certain ringtones to certain contacts?

For sure, all my family has a special ringtone for phone and texts.

Impressive! I'm too lazy to set that up on my phone.

It keeps me from running to the other room when I know it's my family or friends and not the call from my cable service telling me they're on the way.

I answered
Friend

Family will most likely prioritize your call versus a friend who may be "busy"

Most of my missed calls are from unknown numbers. Who expects me to speak with a stranger on my time?

Totally agree!

Q

Are you 007?

I answered

I always forgot to put some volume on my phone.

most of my calls are spam or businesses

I answered

I don't know how to identify missed calls on my phone. Seriously.

What phone do you have?

I answered
None of the Above

Spam call. I assume. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

They're basically the only ones who know my phone number.

Shoot the image didn't work. I was looking forward to what it was!

Here's the Pic:

It seems I can't use center HTML tag with Crowdini... Maybe other html tags too? If you can I'd be glad if you fixed it.

I will ask if it is possible. You may just be able to send the link without HTML tags and it will show. Might not be centered though.

Regarding html tags we have to be careful they don't break the auto voting and comment publishing process we have in place as it can be a bit finicky.

Oh, got it... Next time I'll put images alone then.

Might not be centered though.

Yup~

holidays...lots of calls from family you don't see for a reason, amirite?

definitely!

I answered

It's a spam call of course. Surprised that wasn't an option.

I thought it might be too big of a majority!

I answered

It was a wrong number. 😄

They were probably like 😶

Telemarketer.

I answered

Mine is a spam/robocaller but I figure that missed calls are usually unknown numbers as calls from friends & family tend to get picked up, even just to ask if they can call back.

I've been getting a lot of calls about refinancing my mortgage or paying off student loans, neither of which I need. Omg, I just got another call while typing this. I am on the do not call list and it is exhausting trying to report them all.

Are these on your mobile phone? If so there are apps you can use to minimize these. There are places that have blocklists and they check the number calling you before your phone rings. If the number is on the blocklist the call is dropped.

Yeah, on my mobile. It's really ramped up in the last few months. So weird. Thank you, that's good to know. I'm getting a new phone tomorrow, so that is definitely something I will look into now that i'll have app space.

Since I'm (usually) honest, it was the only answer possible. :P

It's a season when family call often. It's a season of family and friends* celebration. It was a missed call because you were busy and didn't hear it ring.

Surprisingly it was a job recruiter and not a telemarketer/bill collector
