Hello my fellow Steemian friends!

I'm back at ya again with a cover of Lana Del Ray's "Born To Die"

Not much to say here, I like this and a few other songs by her. I actually first heard this song done by the band Tiamat who decided to do this cover on their last album "Scarred People" and then heard her original version and listened to a few more of her tunes at that point. I'm not into modern pop at all really but she does have a unique voice that to me makes her rise above the rest.

Here's the other two versions, starting with her original and then Tiamat's remake after

It is neat how you include other versions of the same song for your listeners. I appreciate that and know that goes above and beyond. It brings out the teacher in you. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much Troy. I like to show them something they may have never heard as well as illustrating how there are different ways to interpret the same piece.

oh man !! Lana strikes a chord for me this end... lovely in choice.... love hearing your voice on those lyrics...

Thank you very much Ms. Legion!

Awesome man, haven't heard the song before. It sounds like a Nick Cave song in your hands! Partly it's your rumbly voice, and partly the song's got a Mercy Seat feel to it, but much slower.

It would be great if the vocal levels could be a bit higher next time. Upped.

Thanks so much, Nick is one of my influences to be sure. I love "THe Mercy Seat". Too bad I can't view the video in my country (USA) and so I guess the "land of the free" is going the way of Germany with censorship :/

Another great interpretation of a great song!

Thank you so much man!

It's always my pleasure Brother.

Interesting...
I hope you liked the performance though.
Don't take this the wrong way because I'll still check out your content, however, I don't want to enter into an agreement to upvote everything in a group before I've even veiwed or listened to the content. I don't even want upvotes I didn't earn by merit.
Peace!
