Among the symptoms of cryptependency, scientists call muscle tension, anxiety, constant monitoring of prices for digital assets (including at night), thoughts of trading in the performance of other actions.

"For some people, trading in crypto-currencies is becoming a way to escape to another world, because the world in which they live, they do not like," said the clinic doctor Tony Marini.

In the rehabilitation center, "Kryptonarkomans" work in groups where they tell their stories and, together with specialists, try to get rid of the "addiction" habit.

"Often, traders lose more than they buy, but they continue the so-called" vengeance trade "to try to recoup their losses," says Janice Dorn.
