Hey everyone! I've been taking a break from using Bittrex up until just a little while ago. I decided that, even though I was hacked and my cryptocurrency was stolen, chances are that adding the 2-Factor Authentication will resolve that issue. So now I have that extra layer of security in place. Now I'm going to restart basically from 0 (I think I had 2 STEEM and a tiny bit of BTC remaining after the theft). I think the USD value went from nearly $1K down to like $11 total, so I was a bit aggravated. Now here's my current list as of today (along with the original buy-in cost).

Right now most coins are looking pretty “bouncy” as to mean they are fluctuating quite a bit. Then again, I have little to no true concept of what a good Coin/Token actually is. The beauty of my method is that I diversify on cheap crypto so there’s little downward mobility and if I have lots of a cheap one that skyrockets then my total looks really good. As an example with dogecoins I have 3000+ Units and if it shot up to $10/Unit then that’s suddenly $30K in my pocket. Or I do this hoping that the values increase enough against BTC that it then allows me to buy more in BTC down the road a bit and if BTC jumps like it did last year then I have more BTC. Let’s face it, 10 BTC at a time where BTC is $100K as some are predicting makes me a millionaire. Either way works for me.

My plan has always to be very diverse. I’ll probably buy some Golem, AdToken and other cheap cryptos and possibly even some smaller amounts of the bigger offerings.
I also use MinerGate and have a few mined slots as well as some parallel BitCoin Cloud Contracts. I’m now buying more Cloud Contracts with my Cloud Contract earnings. It’s all about spending in with super-small amounts.

2 factor authentication is must because it increases the security of the account... It was really sad to hear that your coins were stolen but hope this does not happens again... @dbzfan4awhile please keep two factor authentication.. Nice post fella you have so diverse portfolio!!

I am definitely keeping 2-FA turned on because of my experience. The one positive is that it didn’t hurt me in the real world because I wasn’t buying my way into it. I already had 2-FA on for my MinerGate account and have otherwise only bought in about $100 USD total between myself and my wife on Steemit in pure SP. I get by but just want to make sure other users are aware of my folly so they don’t have duplicate experiences.
