    The New York Attorney General sent 13 major cryptocurrency exchanges a list of 34 question this week.
    "The resource diversion for this production is massive. This is going to completely blow up our roadmap!" Kraken co-founder and CEO Jesse Powell said in a statement.CNBC contacted several other exchanges including Coinbase, Gemini Trust, bitFlyer USA and four others who all said they would provide the information.

              After a quick review of the questions, I've determined they are not unreasonable, nor would it take most exchanges a great deal of effort to comply; Kraken is obviously attempting to hide their activities (they have also recently stopped operations in Japan); and the questions (if answered truthfully, or untruthfully) would implicate them in the future. Yes the market will decide, and that decision may be a large sell off of Kraken assets.
