Technology advances at its own pace. The value of Steem and Bitcoin are the blockchains upon which they are built. Both are part of the cryptocurrency arena which is going to change a lot of things. Industries are started to be upended as I write this.
We are going to see exponential growth in this area, with or without the promotion. The fact that guys like Dimon are attacking bitcoin tells us all we need to know...he fears it and realizes it will upend his business.
Yes I agree with promotion and touting the benefits of steemit. However, it is something that cant be held down. People will find it regardless as work spreads. I joined about 5 weeks ago and there are already 70,000 people who joined after me. That is incredible growth.
