Report: Grayscale Investments Acquired An Additional 17,100 BTC
The world's largest bitcoin and cryptocurrency asset manager, Grayscale investment has bought an additional 17,100 BTC in the last 7 days. The current value of bitcoin recently purchased by Grayscale converts to approximately $182 million at current value of $10,600. Further investigation of the Grayscale website reveals that the total value of their bitcoin trust is now $ 4.8 billion. Anthony Pompliano: Bitcoin (BTC) Is Valuable Because Nobody Can Hack It
While covincing entrepreneur Dave Portnoy to buy and hold BTC for the long-term, Morgan Creek Digital co-founder and Bitcoin bull Anthony Pompliano told computer network that runs Bitcoin is stronger than anything in the world. No government, nobody can hack it because it is the strongest computing network in the world. He said unlike money, government can't print bitcoin, because thereâs only 21 million and a computer runs it. Analysis: Bitcoin Marketcap Will Hit 'Trillions' in 5 to 10 Years
In a recent analysis, the New-York based investment advisory firm ARK Investment Management LLC made a pretty optimistic call regarding BTCâs growth. Bitcoinâs network valuation could balloon to $1 â 5 trillion in the next 5-10 years. The firm thinks that bitcoinâs aggregated market value could soar up to 25 times from where it is currently. Willy Woo: Bitcoin Will Soon Decouple From Traditional Markets
On-chain market analyst Willy Woo believes that bitcoinâs market movement will soon cease to correlate with that of traditional markets, as has been the case until now. Woo shared data from Glassnode showing a clear multiyear uptrend in bitcoin adoption. In his view, this is part of a growing body of evidence that BTC now functions as a long-term store of value for a growing number of âHODLers.â This, he says, will exert more influence over the bitcoin price than âhedge fund and whale traders,â which will effectively decouple bitcoinâs performance from the S&P 500. Chainlink Will Help Counter Fake Viewer Data, Scam Ads
Blockchain-enabled video network Theta has partnered with Chainlink to help push back on video advertising scams. The solution will counter scam-ads using video performance data from Thetaâs network to assign a âreputation scoreâ for each streamer based on their viewership by unique human visitors. Generated using Googleâs big data solution, BigQuery, the score is then broadcast onto the Ethereum network using Chainlinkâs oracles where advertisers can examine it while deciding to whom to give ads. Uniswap Become The First DeFi Platform To Cross $2 Billion In Total Value Locked
Top non-custodial exchange Uniswap has become the first decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol to cross $2 billion in total value locked (TVL), according to tracker DeFi Pulse. Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), and Wrapped bitcoin (WBTC) are Uniswap's top three tokens by liquidity. Uniswap's dominance, among other DeFi protocols, is about 18%. Big Four Accounting Firm EY Launched Tool For Analyzing Bitcoin Transactions
Big four accounting firm EY has launched a new solution for investigating on-chain data including Bitcoin (BTC) transactions. The new Explorer and Visualizer solution launched as a part of the EY Blockchain Analyzer product suite. Users will be able to utilize search functionalities along with its visualization technology. It will allow audit teams to explore and track on-chain data by searching for specific transactions, addresses and blocks. 88% Of All Bitcoin That Will Ever Exist Has Already Been Mined
According to CoinMarketCap data, Bitcoinâs total circulating supply has surpassed a major milestone of 18.5 million coins. This implies 88% of all coins that will ever exist in circulation have already been mined. The first Bitcoin block which is known as the âgenesis blockâ was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of the worldâs largest crypto on Jan. 3, 2009.
