The TE-FOOD token, TFD, is not a security, according to a “world’s first” opinion issued by the German equivalent of the SEC. Source: CoinDesk

IBM will partner with startup Stronghold to promote the release of USD Anchor, a token backed one-to-one with the U.S. dollar. The token will launch on the Stellar blockchain, and will be insured by the FDIC, a feature which separates it from Tether. The USD backing for Anchor will be held by Prime Trust, a Nevada holdings company which runs KYC/AML protocols and has existing arrangements with other stablecoins.
