MYTH #4: BITCOIN IS UNSAFE; IT’S A HACKER’S TRAP!

in crypto-news •  6 years ago

Is it really a Hacker's Trap?

Bitcoin is a protocol which uses cryptography to permits users to securely transfer units of certain value, and all transactions can be authenticated by looking on the blockchain network. This protocol is unhackable!

Whenever the news media says anything about bitcoin hacking, it actually means is that a service that uses bitcoin has had a security breach. Mentioning name of any particular exchange platform won’t be a good idea but all that can be said is unfortunately, exchanges were hacked. This means the bitcoin those exchanges were holding for users got stolen by hackers. The easy solution to that is keeping bitcoins in a hardware bitcoin wallet. Hacking of bitcoin has nothing to do with the unhackable blockchain technology.
