Send Tulips to Mark Crypto Schadenfreude

We all have that one friend or friends (!) that are die-hard fans of the ongoing crypto craze. The same friend who doesn't understand the healthy scepticism that you have about this phenomenon and chides you for not 'getting with it' wholeheartedly. You may be waiting for that moment when the crypto bubble bursts and you can say in a condescending manner - "I told you so!"

There may be a better way to do this with tulips. Why with tulips? That's a reference to the Tulip Mania that is generally considered to be the first speculative bubble.

What's schadenfreude? Schadenfreude is the experience of pleasure, joy, or self-satisfaction that comes from learning of or witnessing the troubles, failures, or humiliation of another. Source: Wikipedia

You can now subscribe to a service which sends a tulip picture and a snarky message to your die-hard, will-not-listen, crypto friend, when the selected cryptocurrency falls beyond a specified threshold. Currently only Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin can be selected. Check out the SendCryptoPeopleTulips site for additional details.

In the event that a cryptocurrency drops to null value ($0), your crypto-mad friend will receive a link to Psychology Today's, 'Find a Therapist' online resource.

You may not able to recover all the time you spent coping with a fan's crypto hype; but you could mark your schadenfreude in a snarky manner!

This hurts as I look at my Litecoin investment..

Cryptos are volatile. Some faith is required to hodl. All the best as we head into 2018!

Thanks, man. Same to you.
2018 is gonna be a good year.

That's cold. Funny, though.

Sorry but thanks!
