Binance to Polygon Briding
Let’s face it, using base Ethereum sucks! You pay more gas fees on a blockchain transaction than you do filling up a Hummer in actual gas here in Los Angeles.
That’s why Polygon is awesome, it’s a more advanced sister chain that allows transactions at fractions of a penny. Polygon is great for metaverse projects due to this reason.
If you are ready to start using Polygon, you need to get some assets into it. This video teaches Binance BNB users like me how to bridge funds over cost-effectively.
To do this:
You first need to trade BNB into a stable coin (USDC in this case) on Pancakeswap: Link – https://pancakeswap.finance/pools
Go to xpollinate.io while in BNB mainnet on Metamask and select USDC and select Polygon as the bridge destination. Link – https://xpollinate.io/
You can then use Polygon’s biggest AMM/DEX Quickswap to trade for Polygon-based projects. Link – https://quickswap.exchange/#/swap
Optional – If this is your FIRST TIME using Polygon, you will need to do a transaction to get some Polygon for gas, by exchanging the above USDC for it. This is done on Polygon’s official site and requires no transaction fee. Link – (https://wallet.polygon.technology/gas-swap)
Note – When on https://wallet.polygon.technology/gas-swap, make sure your Metamask wallet is set to Ethereum Mainnet (the main one), for your wallet to register and allow you to access the site.
I guess I’m supposed to say this or something (common sense):
NOTHING I say is financial advice. I am not qualified in anything. I just make videos n stuff when I’m slightly tipsy/bored about stuff I like. Do your own research frens.
