I’ve heard it all. “THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE THE BIGGEST THING EVER”.
I hear it with “shitcoin” projects that die in about a week on a daily basis. I’ve heard it from triple-A game studios like cdprojectred with Cyberflop 2077.
When you are buying a membership (tokens/nfts) into a crypto game project, you don’t want to be naive or over-optimistic. This is why many people lose their ass not only in crypto but when picking stocks as well.
You have to be able to dig through the hype and look at projects with zero bias, understanding THREE IMPORTANT FACTORS – Fun Factor/Gameplay Loop, Utility of membership (NFTs, Tokens), Community.
If you find something that can nail all 3….you are in pretty good shape.
If you become a member of something without understanding how a game approaches these 3 factors, sure you might just get lucky in a bull run, or you might lose your ass, like I did a few times already.
