Goldman Sachs to start trading Bitcoin!

That is a far cry from where they were just a few months ago.

They were unsure if they were even going to make a market in it for their clients just a few months ago.

Hold your horses:

Before we get too excited, it doesn't look like they will be trading bitcoin directly just yet.

As of right now they are going to allow clients to buy and sell futures contracts using the firm's money.

However, they are also in the process of gaining regulatory approval to trade actual btc.

When that happens, that will be the big game changer for bitcoin.

Good news either way:

Either way though, this adds some serious credibility to the space and is likely very good news going forward.

With all the other potential bullish signs emerging as well, I would not be surprised to see cryptocurrencies have a very good summer.

This might be the first time in history retail is in an investment before Wall Street.

    this is indeed good news, and I foresee a good year for crypto in general, people are getting more used to the idea of cyrpto and we'll should a lot more investment this year.

    Goldman Sachs trading bitcoin is going to attract a lot of investors especially those Old money families effectively multiplying the net worth of cryptos so it's wise to invest as much as possible especially now bitcoin is bearish.
