The Verification Chain is one of Ambr 's original designs. Because the DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) structure is complex and error prone, it is likely that the historical consensus is inconsistent, or the system cannot serialize the transaction, and never confirm it. The verification chain is designed to serialize the DAG into a structure with an unmodifiable stable point at the end for stability.
The verifier should be holding onto more tokens, because the tokens will have a lock period. The verification unit is issued by the verifier in turn to avoid competition. As a verifier, a security deposit is required to discourage damage or inaction. Wrong doings will result in the loss of the deposit. The set of verifiers is dynamically changing, the number is variable, and the entry threshold will be low enough that everyone can participate, creating more decentralization.
