So how about them faucets...

Hi, it's been a while.

First off, to bring some context, let me go back for a minute. A few weeks ago I remembered I have some cryptocurrencies here and there. It's not a lot, but if you were to believe the optimistic traders and experts out there and their XRP predictions (I'm talking about the magical $589 target), then I would ALMOST be a millionaire when that time comes. Currently hodling a few more coins also, but most of my portfolio consists of XRP.  Anyways..

Recently, I've had great luck. I usually participate in every raffle or giveaway I'm offered and I have never won anything. I don't want to jinx it, but during the last 6 weeks, I've won them all. It's ridiculous! I've won a bicycle, a box of Snickers, a tankful of gas, a pair of Fiskars scissors and a Lenovo Yoga tablet (which I turned down because of the stupid conditions set by the organizer). Like, I just picked up the Snickers literally today. So given everything that's happened, that got me wondering: should I try gambling? I do seem to be on a roll.. I know myself well enough to not go down that rabbit hole, since I am addicted to addictions.

Speaking of rolls, there are other options out there and one of them is crypto coin faucets. Basically, faucets are a way to generate coins by simply rolling the dice and hoping for a generous payout. It's not exactly gambling, since you don't need to deposit anything to them and you don't have any wagers. I googled and found a few promising ones and I tried them out. People on forums pointed out that www.freebitco.in was very consistent and accurate when it comes to payouts, so I decided to stick with that for a while. And I sh*t you not: on the first day, I rolled and got 9991 which rewarded me a little over 3000 satoshis. It isn't much, but still enough to make you want more.

Also, there's an option there called MULTIPLY BTC, which is basically a HI-LO type of game. What that means is, you place a bet on either HI or LO and roll; if you bet on HI and the outcome is higher than 5250 then you've won and vice versa with LO. I did try to find some formulas on the AUTO BET tab that would make the process a little faster, but so far only one has worked with small bets and generated any BTC. I modified it just a little, so that it works even better. If you're interested in it, let me know! But I do need to warn you - you very well might lose everything you've earned so far with you free hourly rolls. God knows I have done so a couple of times.

Why would I even waste my time with this nonsense? Simply because I've been on a roll lately and the odds are 1:10000 for someone to win 0.03058575 BTC from simply one click. Currently that's roughly 180€. It's not much in that sense, but since I like to invest in altcoins then I could double, triple or even quadruple that amount IF I'm lucky. And let's be honest - we all want to live a little better and travel a little further. That pretty much sums it up.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you know any other great sources of cryptos?
