Bamboo will be a micro investing app for crypto which is similar to another app Acorns which is NOT investing in crypto. If you aren’t familiar with Acorns basically you invest your FIAT change into one of 6 diversified portfolios which have been put together by known experts. These portfolios that you can switch up whilst investing range from High risk to Low risk.
What Bamboo will do is make it easier for the general public who are interested in investing into crypto but aren’t tech savvy or willing to put in big(ish) amounts of money. The crypto market at times will see bigger gains than Acorns does but as we have seen recently we also have bigger dips so people who are investing their change shouldn’t be scared off like the recent weak hands.
I believe that the way Bamboo will access your change is by you registering your card details on the Bamboo app which will have access to your purchase history and request the rounded up figure to the nearest $1 so if you buy a coffee for $2.60 40c will be taken and invested into crypto on Bamboo.
