There are a lot of things that have happened and to watch for in the upcoming weeks:
** Several more crypto exchanges have opened or expanded (OKcoin, cobinhood, Coinbase) with respect to region, availability, coins offered, and services offered.
** US Congress declares cryptocurrencies as 'the future of money'
** US SEC is once again determining (Aug 10th) whether to allow Bitcoin ETFs (decision in next few weeks)
** South Korea is re-evaluating its stance on crypto
**Flow Traders NV - a ‘speed trading’ firm based in Amsterdam which traded $284 billion last quarter - announced that it is now making markets in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETNs (exchange traded notes).
** Ripple /XRP is making headway (deals with Indian Banks) in India?
** Litecoin purchased 10% of a German bank?!
Gemini announced hiring (NYSE) former chief information officer R. Cornish to help build up the cryptocurrency platform with institutional investors in mind,
**The U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee announced Thursday that it would host a hearing titled "The Future of Money: Digital Currency" on Wednesday, July 18.
There's more I can add, but things are looking quite good. So stay confident. Keep your eye on Omisego (OMG). They're starting to set up office branches in Singapore, etc and creating more partnerships. They've been quiet for awhile.
Good luck.
