1 Million Pixels Project First Piece

Hi Steemians,

Today I took the time to check out the Ompx Project, a.k.a the One Million Pixels project. The project aims to be a game on the blockchain, specifically the Ethereum blockchain. Similar to Cryptokitties, the project uses Metamask to enable smart contract transactions. On this project, the transactions represent edits. Anyone can edit/contribute to any part of the 1m (1000x1000) Pixel Canvas.

After buying 1000 Ompx Tokens using metamask for the reasonable price of 0.008792414538021 Ethereum, I was set up to create. These tokens do not represent securities but mainly in game assets.

I have enough for 1 last edit for now. It is important to note that every edit is costs about 0.007USD at the time of this write-up. Even if a 1 or 100 pixels are edited the transaction remains the same. Choose your edits wisely and make the location you choose on the canvas is one that you like. To fix mistakes users can also choose to change to pixel are to black.

Things I like about the project:
-Transactions are very manageable especially on a very small budget, in my case I was looking at about 0.0087 Ethereum to use when buying the lowest amount of Pixels which was 1000. I was lucky to be the first 1000 users and so received an additional 1000 tokens from the team to play around with.

Things I would change:
-A larger area to edit if one is making a large picture. The BTC barcode would have been much easier if the user was able to widen the edit area. I don't believe this would affect game play in any way since the user would still need a certain amount of tokens, thus the financial ecosystem of the project remains unaffected.
