Thorchain has been going through the ringer as of late with it's platform that issued out more money then what it was brining in resulting in millions of dollars that it had to make up some how in order to pay out people. This sent the price of the token tumbling down as everyone attempted to get their money out.
But if you haven't heard North Korea just pulled off yet another hack for 1.5 billion dollars. And from that it looks like Thorchain is the target for the group to swap the funds into other assets to try and reduce their trail. Not a good look for Thorchain once again.
Now I'm all for decentralization but it needs to go both ways. If someone legit hacks the platform it should be up to the decentralized network to know this and be able to freeze or adjust those funds based on a vote from decentralized sources. That means not single entity making the calls but a collective group of investors in the platform which you can bet ya I'm pretty sure most if not all would vote to lock up those hacked funds. We need to get better and be better as a ecosystem and stop letting ass hats like North Korea get away with this shit.
