Maybe next time you could mention Delegated Proof of Stake or DPOS https://bitshares.org/technology/delegated-proof-of-stake-consensus/
which is how Bitshares, Steem, and I believe EOS as well, arrive at consensus within their respective blockchains

That was my thought, but figured that even if i described it perfectly to a tee, he would've come back with an answer confusing enough to have me look at him like a puppy dog with the tilted head. @Stan would be smooth and have a great analogy that would knock the socks off of half of them and sweep the rest of them off their feets!

We have to make this happen with @stan, he will be seen by so many. Moreso, so many will finally be introduced to him, the man they have been wanting to meet in the Crypto World.
