Would 2FA protect you from hack ? well, it depends...

After a previous hack, I operated a 2FA defence using Google Authetication on my exchange accounts, hoped this
will protect me.
What happened?
My Yahoo email was breached several times, it seems not so difficult, now I've added also 2FA to
Yahoo(sms) - hope it helps.
For the exchange: Coinexchange - didn't fight too much, the hackers asked to remove the 2FA and they politely agreed.
Binance - asked passport id and more documents, seems it helped.
HitBtc - freezed withdrawals for 3 days, which also helps.
Bittrex and Cryptopia - also stoped them till now.
It seems that private wallet is more secured, wish it included 2FA also as a second tear...
Good luck !

2fa via SMS is very dangerous , also you should be carefull with Google Authenticator because you can t create a Backup , I use Authy

When you use Google Authenticator the exchange usually gives you a backup code, in case the cellular is lost, but its interesting to watvh your suggestion !
