Canya Hodlers Club Update

We updated our Hodlers club to allow more people to participate.

Summary: As of January 15, there are two tiers to the HODL club.

Tier 1: HODL club OG
The original tier. 2m tokens will be distributed to all the ICO participants that had more than 5000 CAN at the closure of the ICO.

Tier 2: 2500 minimum CAN HODL club
The second tier will be for all of those new community members who want to join the HODL club but didn’t get a chance during the ICO. This new tier will require it’s members to have a minimum of 2500 CAN and then wait the 45 days required for our ‘proof of HODL’.

To the CanYa community, in particular our HODL club members of now and in the future.

In the latest blog update we announced a change to the minimum entry of CAN tokens. We had lowered it to 2500 CAN from 10,000 CAN. We did this for a number of reasons:

1. We didn’t want to make the HODL club entry price unattainable

2. We want to keep the HODL club alive for the future

3. We wanted a core group of believers in the CanYa project and by increasing the number of HODL club members we can increase this group of strong believers in the project.

For the above reasons a lot of the community saw this as a positive move. However, a number of our original HODL club members felt that this new entry price is too low and were upset by the lack of consultation that went into the change. We at CanYa are very proud of our community and the belief they have shown to the team and the project so when they spoke we couldn’t ignore their concerns.

Thus, we have decided to create two tiers to the HODL club. The original tier will be unchanged. 2m tokens will be distributed to all the ICO participants that had more than 5000 CAN at the closure of the ICO. This tier will be called HODL club OG.

The second tier will be for all of those new community members who want to join the HODL club but didn’t get a chance during the ICO. This new tier will require it’s members to have a minimum of 2500 CAN and then wait the 45 days required for our ‘proof of HODL’. This tier will also receive CAN token air drops but will be seperate from the first tier. This new tier will have 500,000 tokens airdropped at random over the next 6 months.

You cannot be in both tiers at once.

All HODL club members (whether OG or regular HODL club) will still be invited to a private chat, have access to our website and giveaways plus be invited to our CanYa annual conference and party.

here will be NO MORE CHANGES TO THE HODL club. You have our word.

We hope that this allays some of the concerns shown by our community and that we can continue to build this awesome HODL club idea together.
