We have see this before folks nothing to be alarmed about. Bitcoin / Crypto is Cyclical. Every year the price peaks in December then drops as the Asian New Year hits. The Asian markets sell and buy gifts just like our Christmas.

To add to the fire we have seen some developments in the past days.

  1. The US government has imposed taxation on crypto to crypt trading.
  2. CapitalOne Bank has stopped allowing transactions with Coinbase and other exchanges.
  3. Credit card companies are pulling out from supporting crypto currency company Bitpay and a few others.
  4. New investors went all in and maxed out credit cards, people took second mortgages on houses to buy Bitcoin.
Now will all default leaving them with large debit that has now been transformed into thin air.

What happens next, Decreed now has ASICS.
Decreed also has created atomic swaps as well as komodo.

Regulation is about to be thrown out the door. The Governments fucked everything up they had their chance.
They want to block the banks and credit card companies from dealing with bitcoin.
Good luck with that.

Everything is moving to Decentralization, Lightning network is maturing.
I think we learned a lot this year.

  1. We do not want to pay crazy transaction fees.
  2. Most people are not spending it.
  3. We learned that despite the fact that people hate ASICS. It is just not rational running a main coin off of GPU's and CPU's
  4. POS coins have possessed little value. But are more energy efficient.
  5. We have seen a ton on forks giving free coins. Which people loved.
  6. Airdrops have helped people to hold coins.
  7. We are tired of the governments KYC policies.
  8. Blockchains are traceable to know who owns what.

What will win this year?

  1. A secure coin that is non traceable
  2. A coin with low transaction fees.
  3. A coin that can be mined with multiple algorithms Sha256 / Scrypt / POS
  4. A coin that can be staked and minted.
  5. A coin that can be secured in a hardware wallet
  6. Possible Tor Wallet support
  7. Can be purchased anonymously and securely not using a bank.
  8. A coin that will support Atomic Swaps built into the client.
  9. A coin that has smart contracts as well as tokens.
  10. secure messaging on the blockchain.
  11. A coin that is easy to use from any online store.

There are some runners up, but I have not seen one that hits all the marks.
Lets see what 2018 holds.
