• As South Korea's cryptocurrency exchanges have experienced a series of traded breaks or connection failures, there is growing concerns over investors’ losses. Some also say that such error incidents have happened frequently as cryptocurrency exchanges make a tidy profit from commissions but are low on infrastructure investment. The Bithumb charges 15 percent of trading costs for commissions. When its daily trading volume is conservatively estimated at 1 trillion won (US$919.96 million), the daily operating profit reaches 1.5 billion won (US$1.38 million) in the Bithumb alone. An official from the industry said, “Recently, some are commissioning foreign specialized companies to expand their servers, upgrading its technology, but others are still obsessed with attracting customers only. One company is having a class action suit but is still seeking to attract customers through online advertising.”
• Currently, 67% of global internet traffic is video, Sliver says. As we continue to watch more video game videos and Facebook Live episodes, that's going to hit 82% in 2020. Adding to the problem is that VR streams chew up much more data, since they need to send 360 degrees of video content. The result is massive network slowdown.YouTube Co-Founder, Steve Chen: “Theta’s innovation is set to disrupt today’s online video industry much in the same way that the YouTube platform did," he said in a statement. "One of our biggest challenges had been the high costs of delivering video to various parts of the world, and this problem is only getting bigger with HD, 4K and higher quality video streams.”
• Ripple has announced that Benjamin Lawsky, the former New York superintendent of Financial Services has joined its Board of Directors (BoD) and Ron Will as chief financial officer (CFO).
• BANKEX technical team has recently announced they have developed the world’s first private blockchain that supports Plasma Protocol for public audit which will allow users to transfer different assets directly to each other leaving intermediaries behind and solving one of the most pressing problems of current crypto world – high gas consumption. The Plasma like protocol open source code is already available here.
• Bitstamp, a UK-based cryptocurrency exchange, will soon be adding support for bitcoin cash (BCH) trading according to an announcement on November 21.

BTC/BCH NEWS
We can see that the previous TA chart is still applicable to the forecast as we battle in the low $8000s. However, BCH is slowly climbing up simultaneously on any short BTC dip. There are some theories about what’s happening. I’ll elucidate.
Tether Hacked
• https://www.americanbanker.com/articles/hackers-steal-31m-of-the-cryptocurrency-tether
Synopsis:
The company behind tether, a cryptocurrency used by bitcoin exchanges to facilitate trades with fiat currencies, announced the theft on Tuesday. It said in a statement that a “malicious” attacker removed tokens from the Tether Treasury wallet on Nov. 19 and sent them to an unauthorized bitcoin address. The company said it is trying to prevent the stolen coins from being used.
Operation Dragonslayer
•
Synopsis:
This all stems from a YouTube video hosted by coinGuyBri – Moderator, with guests: Joshua Marx - Tulip Maina, Rob Danielson - CTO of Rocketr, Christopher Ames.
Shown below: Rob Danielson - CTO of Rocketr
Where the behind white board has been clearly shown. He doesn’t even have the camera centered on himself, but more so between himself and the whiteboard. The whiteboard has been deciphered as such:
11/8 - Cancel SegWit2x
11/13 - BCH DAA HF
11/16 - Fake "Segwitt 2x" (some think Fork)
11/24 - Slush joins BCH
11/25 - Operation Dragonslayer
???? - Segwit compatible ASIC boost
BTC = BCH
1/1 - Coinbase + BCH
This caused a lot of drama and FUD. Supposedly tomorrow we will see the truth, but here is what I have uncovered from Slush’s Twitter:
They make direct statements against this because they’re barraged with the questions:

AND also SLUSH on the Halong Miners… These Tweets are Now Gone

Halong Miners – DragonMint 16T
• https://halongmining.com/
Synopsis:
There’s also the case of this new mining company which says they’ve spent $30mil USD developing a new miner, the DM8575 ASIC, which runs at a 85GH per chip with power efficiency of around 0.075J/GH.
There have been a lot of Tweets showcasing this company’s frozen dragon photo and talking about Operation Dragonslayer, but as of yet the connections are still sparse.
BTC vs BCH Reddit Wars
• https://news.bitcoin.com/forum-wars-rbitcoin-mods-accused-hacking-vote-manipulation/
Synopsis:
(CNBot) trawls Reddit boards to detect threads that are deleted and to uncover data that points to censorship. After redditor BashCo revealed large-scale vote manipulation on r/Bitcoin a week ago, the CNBot was despatched to investigate. Reddit threads attain visibility through upvoting. Conversely, when threads are downvoted en masse, they all but disappear from view.
The bots which were downvoting comments and posts on /r/Bitcoin and upvoting posts on /r/btc began their attack on 11/14/2017 at around 18:00 utc. A similar unusual pattern of voting appeared on /r/btc around the same time the day before, though less dramatically. The bots seemed to be pushing people to buy Bitcoin Cashin such a blatant way that it even left a bad taste in the mouths of Bitcoin Cash supporters.
We also noticed that an extremely high number of /r/Bitcoin and /r/btc users were reporting that they themselves were hacked and part of the bot attack. We identified 35 such users, but the highest number of votes seen on a single thing indicate between 250-300 accounts involved with the attack.
BitCoinTalk ICO Shilling
On a similar vein, it seems BitCoinTalk is also heavily manipulated. I was doing research for the VLB (Vehicle Lifecycle Blockchain) ICO and came across this post which I later verified as true by looking into the allegations.
“GO TO ANY OF THE LAST 20 PAGES AND CLICK THE PROFILE OF ANY POSTER AND YOU WILL SEE THAT ITS SAME IDENTICAL ACCTS POSTING IN AN ALMOST CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER ON ALL THE THREADS LISTED BELOW
I believe that credible companies, grow their presence organically. Using other methods is devious and technically a scam.
With that said, I will like to inform that VLB is using a paid slack group to bolster up their thread count. 85% of the post on this thread is made by this group Their members are paid in tokens to show interest in an ICO, and they usually disappear soon as the ICO is complete.
This paid members create a fake interest in an ICO to lures in investors, I personally view that as a scam and should be addressed.
So, i have decided to fight them at their own battle. Since they cheat to stay on top, i will make sure this post is present on every page until the ICO is complete.
I BELIEVE ITS ONLY FAIR TO A PROSPECTIVE INVESTOR.
The same group is also shilling this icos

BTC vs BCH Reddit Wars
• https://news.bitcoin.com/forum-wars-rbitcoin-mods-accused-hacking-vote-manipulation/
Synopsis:
Hong Kong has drawn many cryptocurrency companies for its liberal regulations, but local banks are not so friendly. Exchanges and other Bitcoin-related businesses report problems with receiving adequate banking services.
According to Leo Wesse, Hong Kong Bitcoin Association president, such moves from banks may create more risk in the cryptocurrency sector, by hampering well-developed exchanges and giving way to scammers.
Wesse reports that in Hong Kong, the biggest fear of exchanges is a severance of bank account services. He also reported that the reason for banks' refusals may be a dynamic in which they see Bitcoin and the exchanges as business rivals, instead of partners.

WHAT’S UP…DATES ON ETH
Italian Bank Exploring Eth for Derivatives Market
• https://www.coindesk.com/italian-bank-intesa-sanpaolo-exploring-ethereum-derivatives/
Synopsis:
A subsidiary of global banking giant Intesa Sanpaolo is taking steps to reimagine what the $1.2 quadrillion derivatives market might one day look like on a public blockchain.
In a new white paper released today, Banca IMI details how an ethereum smart contract built by Intesa Innovation, Banca IMI and blockchain startup Oraclize makes it impossible for any counterparty to default by anticipating eventualities that might otherwise result from a legal dispute.
A third project is also being built with Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca IMI and Oraclize. Aiming to give users the highest levels of privacy, the project is being designed to build private blockchains into a central counterparty clear house (CCP) for trading derivatives.
To meet that demand, derivatives startups like LedgerX are already conducting increasingly complicated contracts using bitcoin, and the DTCC is using a private blockchain developed by Axoni to move its own derivatives to a blockchain.
Ethereum King/Queen of TX
• http://www.trustnodes.com/2017/11/22/ethereum-now-handles-transactions-digital-currencies-combined
Synopsis:
Ethereum currently processes 52.3% of all cryptocurrency transactions, followed by bitcoin at 33%, while Bitcoin Cash, currently third in market cap, is handling only 1.8% as pictured above.
More than half a million transactions were processed yesterday by ethereum, a level that is now becoming common for the platform, rising considerably since early last year when it stood at just 10,000.
For now, Ethereum can still comfortably handle 1 million to 2 million daily transactions, but thereafter it may start struggling. Demand, however, is not at those levels yet. Once it rises there, the capacity upgrades might be ready, which may further be complemented with Raiden, Plasma and other second layer protocols.
