Ukrainian official Twitter handle, as well as Account of Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, shared details of crypto wallets on Saturday. Victor Zhora, one of Ukraine's top Cyberdefense officials have confirmed to Bloomberg that the tweets and wallet addresses were accurate.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian government is requesting any clues to the cryptocurrency wallet of Russian and Belarusian politicians as the country continues to rely on public financing for self-defense against Russia and its allies.
Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov wrote on Twitter on Saturday that the Ukrainecrypto community will reward those who provide information. The government has already used Twitter to solicit crypto donations and send online hackers' forums to seek help to protect them from cyber attacks.
Crypto businessman Justin Sun shared a number of fundraising factors, including encouraging Ethereum founder VitalikButerin to "work hand in hand to support Ukraine's aid," and said he would be "happy to match" if Butterin donated.
