cryptocurrency is the future as long as the people releasing them has a specific goal and not just money gathering on the crypto hyip (scams).
I like bitcoin and its transparency but i do not like the fact that anyone one can check my account and balances. so there is a need for a better privacy on that. of course the more things get out of control, the more governmebts will try to intervene. it happens all the time wit fiat currency.
