If you’ve been following my posts, then you’ll know that I am always on the lookout for use cases for crypto, in shopping, finances, insurance, security, and health. Travel and vacationing is also an area where this would totally be possible, and the travel industry could certainly benefit from this kind of technology. As an industry, global tourism was worth $7.6 trillion USD in 2016, a huge market!
There are several Decentralised travel companies built on blockchain technology, ETH travel, Winding Tree, and Travala (formerly Concierge) to name a few. However, one company stood out for me, one that felt more accessible (ie. not based or focused on southeast Asia), led by a team of highly qualified and experienced industry experts, with an MVP and a token that is without a doubt, a utility for the platform and its users. The company I am referring to is Travelblock, which is currently in the second week of its public crowdsale. If you want to find out more about the project you can find more details about it below, including my (unsponsored) review of the platform on YouTube. As always, there is also an audio recording of its white paper which you can access here
In terms of vacationing through the blockchain, well this is certainly something that I would love to try!

I liked your video, @cryptoRhodes.
The travel business is definitely not biased in favor of the consumer, and rife with arrangements that cost us money. Good work.
I am a Level 6 google guide, and looking to expand my reach.

Thank-you!
This is one of the few projects that I believe will hit the ground running with their already functioning platform that you can actually see a demo of, but only via their telegram group (to get username and password) so that that they don't violate any OTA agreements.
Level 6 Google Guide? Awesome! I'm really glad you found my video useful :)
