Venrock, founded in 1969 by the grandson of the first-ever dollar billionaire John Rockefeller, is investing in crypto. The information is on BitPlex.
Under the new project, Venrock will work with the CoinFund venture capital company. This platform is involved in investment in crypto and various other block technologies. Among the partners of CoinFund is the creator of the famous Kik Messenger, who in 2017 presented his own crypto.
According to CoinFund's management, the company is not interested in short-term profits. Instead, the long-term prospects for the development of the crypto area as a whole are the top priority.
CoinFund started its business half a century ago with only $ 1 million capitalizations. To date, its assets are valued at $ 3 billion. The success of CoinFund is largely due to the growth of companies such as Apple and Intel, which were once selected as promising funding sites.
At the same time, the cost of a Bitcoin suddenly fell by $ 500. The main crypto fell from $ 7100 to $ 6700. The fall of the course continued and took place just when the number of auctions grew. So far, there are no known reasons for this situation.
