The Cash App by Square Inc. has launched Bitcoin integration for a small number of users. Users can now buy, sell or store Bitcoin on the App. Select users can swipe right from their Cash Card page to access the bitcoin features.BitMEX Exchange to Sell User’s Bitcoin Cash
Hong Kong based Bitcoin Mercantile Exchange (BitMEX) has announced they be will selling all users’ Bitcoin Cash, and credit their wallet with the Bitcoin proceeds. Anyone that was holding Bitcoin on their exchange on August 1st at 1:17 PM UTC, a few seconds after block 478,588 will be credited with the Bitcoin proceeds.
The UK based firm London Block Exchange is launching a new Cryptocurrency Debit Card called Dragoncard. Users can pay with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin anywhere that takes Visa. However, holdings are exchanged to pounds as a way to spend money. London Block Exchange also claims to have a digital wallet app and a cryptocurrency exchange. UPDATE: London Block Exchange has removed “Accepted anywhere that takes Visa” from their website. We cannot confirm a partnership.
American Express announced they are launching a Blockchain-Enabled Cross-Border Business-to-Business Payments platform with Santander UK allowing users to send money from England to the U.S. in seconds via the Ripple network. The platform will be using RippleNet in hopes of replacing SWIFT and ACH transaction bank transfers that take up to two days to complete.
