I wrote a blog earlier in January regarding the 'Coinsmarkets' exchange going under maintenance due to 'Server Issues'.
I and many other suers of the exchange were ecstatic earlier in the week when the site claimed "trading would resume in a few hours" and I would have loved to come back with good news that the exchange resolved the issues and traders are happy trading away again but sadly this is not the case .
The latest updating on the site states that even though previous issues are fixed they are having to move hosting again.......yes, again!!!

This is not the first time that users of the exchange have seen this message displayed on the site. Late in January after alerting users that the site has fixed it's database issues the site claimed that due to users contacting their hosting suppliers accusing the exchange of fraud they had to move to new servers.
This could well have been the case as many users on the exchanges built in chatango widget were contacting whoever they could about the site as communication between the exchange and users had been virtually non existent.
Coinsmarkets did update their news section near the end of January and stated that they had a very small dev team and the one member that could resolve the situation was unable to help due to personal issues and the Dev team had to be careful who they entrusted to help them resolve the matter (understandable when you have to trust a new guy with hundreds of thousands of coins)
It is hard to say whether or not the exchange is going to make a reappearance or whether they have done a midnight flit with everyone's coins and merely buying themselves time with glimmers of hope. The surprising thing I find is that apart from a telegram group set up regarding the downtime and a couple of posts on reddit, the whole fiasco doesn't seem to be widely spoken about.
Hopefully they will rectify all the issues shortly and I will update as and when they do.
