This is a basic guide for setting up Slushpool as the mining pool for Bitcoin (BTC) on the SHA-256 algorithm.

    c. Settings Screen – NOTE: this guide only addresses quickly configuring for BITCOIN
mining and does not address all possible settings!
    i. GENERAL page
    ii. ACCOUNT page
    iii. SECURITY page
    iv. DEVICES page
    v. ACCESS PROFILES page
    vi. ENABLED COINS
  4. BITCOIN page
    a. BTC PAYOUTS
    i. PAYOUT ADDRESS
  5. Copy your BTC receive address from your
    personal wallet to this location.
    ii. Payout Threshold
  6. This number determines when you get paid!
When you accumulate via mining this amount it
will transfer the BTC to your designated wallet
    after subtracting .0001 BTC.
  7. If you set to .001 BTC for faster payouts you will
pay a LOT more for the transfer fee. Under this
setting, if you have .001 with BTC being worth
$9000, you get paid when your balance is
equivalent to $9 in United States Dollars, minus
a fee of $.90 (90 cents). If you were to make it
.01 BTC before a payout (meaning you
accumulate about $90 before it pays you), the
fee is the same – 90 cents. That’s a difference of
paying 10% vs 1% just to get your BTC out.

    c. Click “Submit” at the bottom of the PAYOUTS page after adding
your BTC “receive” address and setting your “Payout Threshold”
  8. ZCASH page
    d. WORKERS page
    i. Select “NEW WORKER”
    1.SlushpoolPic9.jpg
ii. Give the worker a name, and there are configuration options if you choose to
    select them
  9. Options:
    a. Enable monitoring
    b. Auto detect Alert Limit
    c. Use default minimum difficulty.
  10. Note – you can configure multiple workers to track how they perform
OR you can use the same worker for all miners.
  11. You now have a “mining pool” (named Slushpool) and a “worker” – and you are configured to
receive payouts to your bitcoin (BTC) address.
