Pros:

• Active community on slack
• Very clean website, normie friendly
• Graph looks very bullish. No pumping/dumping has occurred on a large scale.
• MTP integration soon.
• Little marketing has been done, leaving room to expand.
• Coin based on Zero Knowledge Cryptographic proof. " A zero-knowledge proof is a method in which one person can prove to another person that a given statement is true, without conveying any information apart from the fact that the statement is indeed true. "
• Based on the Zerocoin paper. "Zerocoin was one of the most cited cryptography papers in the last 3 years, with over 200 citations."

Cons:

• Implementation bug on 16-02-2017 which resulted in the generation of 370,000 Zcoins. worth about 410BTC at the time. It is my belief that this error has made the protocols within the development team more sound.
• One wallet holds 818,583.2 XZC according to BlockExplorer. However that address is an address of a notable exchange.

ZCash vs ZCoin?

Most notable difference is:
Zcash conceals the amount of money sent in each transaction, whereas Zcoin does not. So Zcash is less prone to privacy timing attacks than Zcoin. On the other hand, this comes with a big tradeoff for Zcash, in the form of potentially undetected hyper-inflation in Zerocash’s money supply.

Technical analysis:

I am personally very interested to see where this coin goes in 2-4 weeks time. I estimate $28 within one month, and potentially 3 figures within 6 months. A three figure price would mean ZCoin has a market cap of $250m, which is still HALF of ZCash's current marketcap. If you have faith in the technology and team, then investing in ZCoin is a solid investment.
