Will the "Real" Nakamoto Please Stand Up...

in crypto •  5 years ago  (edited)

You just know the crypto markets are bored silly when claims start surfacing yet again about the true identity of the elusive "Satoshi Nakamoto" once more. Website Satoshi Nakamoto Renaissance Holdings announced a three part reveal pertaining to who is the actual inventor of the crypto currency that changed the world as we know it. The first of which was published yesterday and devulged into some weak ramblings about a possible nickname he had whilst growing up (Shaikho) as well as having probable Pakistani origins. Although still with no evidence to back any of it up with...

And the final two reveals are due out in the subsequent days ahead. What a load of old drivel! When BTC was first released, sure, it was fresh and new with a shitload of hype and speculation surrounding it. People were clamouring to discover who had created this incredible new technology and the offers made to find out were in the millions. However, I do believe nobody really cares that much anymore.

If their identity were to be made public, it would widely be considered more of a formality than anything else because crypto enthusaists have now moved on to greener pastures whilst trying to implement real use-cases for crypto in our world. In other words, Bitcoin has managed to transcend Satoshi Nakamoto himself.

Add to this the fact that there are a plethora of others cryptos, some of which boast substancial improvements to the original technology itself, and you'll soon see the crypto space is not what it once was. And with each bold new claim that is made, the more skeptical people will grow hence the less interest will be had if a truth is ever found. I, for one, don't really care. There is a guy out there (presuming he is still alive) that has single-handedly turned the global economic world on it's head. Some loathe him, other love him. So I'm guessing lurking in the shadows and remaining in it's safety net, would appear an indefinitely preferable option.

Could the real "Nakamoto" please stand up? Not really. I think he'd rather just keep sitting down if it's all the same to you.

Seems to just be a publicity stunt from some random company.

My guess is they found out Craig Wrong has "lost" "his" keys so they'll pretend Satoshi did the same and point at someone wanting some of that spotlight for a while.

Spot on, mate. And now they're turning this latest stunt into a three part mini-series. What exactly were they expecting us to think? :)

Let's start the rumour right here.

Jeffrey Epstein was Satoshi Nakamoto.

That would pleasantly merge two conspiracy theories into one.

Throw in "Area 51" and you've got potentially limitless avenues to explore. :)

That MUST be where the first nodes are located!!

I don't think the person or entity, probably a single person, who is Nakamoto, will ever reveal their identity to the world.

...And I think we'll be just fine without knowing either.

Absolutely true.

when people will finally learn?
if Satoshi want to surface, he just sign that genesis key, not by shilling an announcement!

Yep, it will probably be a natural occuring truth.

and if people really understand the purpose of his anonymity since the first time, this kind of shitty gimmick won't happen!

Too true. :)

I think he's sitting and enjoying his Bitcoins. 🤔

His main account still remains dormant. Let's see for how long. :)

Plot Twist, Satoshi Nakamoto died in 2010. He would have come forward with proof. But never lived to see his invention play out. And somewhere there's a computer that holds the keys to billions of dollars. It could get scraped or end up in some secondhand store.

It could be bought by some parent for their children and that kid might delete the keys because they do not know what bitcoin is, not knowing that temporarily he was the richest person on earth.

I would find this scenario quite ironic.
