Ionomy fully ignoring customers now. Consider your money gone if it is in there

in crypto •  6 months ago

I wrote a while ago about how Ionomy was a great company for those of us involved in relatively minor altcoins like this one and they were fine for about 5 years even though I really didn't care for their interface.

I suspected for a while that they were just going to run off with what they could steal and leave us all holding the ball and encouraged others to try everything they could to get their assets out of there before a complete and total collapse. They were never a big exchange, and were never really a respected exchange, but there was a time when they were actually answering customers and processing withdrawals. Then there came a dark period about a few months ago where they were only processing some and you had to be quite creative in order to get anything to happen... you just had to get lucky and hope for the best Now it appears as if they are content to simply be the bad guys and run off with everyone's money.

Ionomy hasn't posted anything on any social media platform in quite some time. In their Discord or Telegram they used to respond to people every now and then, but now they don't even do that. No one has been responded to in a very long time and I don't think that is going to change.

Recently, I attempted to log into my account and was surprised that I was actually able to do so seeing as how they simply locked me out with very little reason given about a year ago. In there I could see all of my funds still floating around with a greyed out "withdrawal pending" indicator next to the withdrawal I initiated over a year ago. I think we can safely surmise that this withdrawal isn't ever actually going to happen.

In the past few months I and some friends of mine experienced brief moments of hope when various withdrawals actually went through. It might have been ETH or Doge or BTC or whatever, but most of them still stalled and when this happened you were just screwed because nobody answers support tickets there at all. I am kind of questioning why it is that they haven't just simply taken the site completely down.

Because I had already written this couple of hundred dollars that I had left in there off quite some time ago, I figured I would have a go at taking it out and hope that for some reason, that it would happen.

Well I can tell you right now that it simply isn't going to happen.

If you are at all familiar with Ionomy back before they decided to simply steal everyone's money, they always required an email verification in order to process any withdrawal. There was a time when after you clicked on this the wheels would start turning at Ionomy and you would receive your funds.

I had to use an old image because of the fact that today when I attempted to make a withdrawal, the auto-reply verification email wasn't even sent. It's been hours, it isn't going to get sent and I can't say I am terribly surprised.

I don't know if anyone out there knows who these people are, I hear the name "Adam" thrown around a lot, but while I am not going to be the one that does it, I certainly hope that you get what is coming to you Adam, whoever you are.

If you are still out of the loop enough to not be aware that Ionomy is fully dead, take this as your warning. If you put any funds in there they will disappear to the void and you will almost certainly never get them back.
