Today I will be reviewing an app I recently learned about called Kinit that has been available to download for Android for a while, but has also now become available for download on IPhones. Essentially, this app allows users to earn “Kin” cryptocurrency by answering relatively painless and quick survey questions. From my experience in the app, the survey questions are actually fairly entertaining. Most of them so far have been asking which I prefer of two pictures, whether it be two different bedrooms, or two pictures of pools. If you enjoy quizzes on Buzzfeed, a lot of these are pretty similar. As long as the quizzes and surveys stay similar and fairly entertaining, I will continue to do them daily and “mine” cryptocurrencies (I will keep you appraised of my progress).
So far, the app only gives a few surveys a day from which Kin can be earned. I’m not sure, but I think it may be in order to cap the daily amount of Kin that can be earned, and possibly not burn people out on the app. Kin could also still be searching for more vendor sponsors to support the app and ecosystem.
Like any app where you earn points or currency of any kind, there are of course, prizes. Currently they have options such as Amazon gift cards, Air Bnb Gift cards, and various coupons. After about a week of having the app, I have earned 431 Kin (a $5 gift card is 500 Kin), however, I do not plan on cashing mine in, as I am an avid crypto investor and enjoy supporting the products. Overall, I enjoy this app as it helps to educate about crypto currencies and is relatively easy to use with entertaining ways to earn currency.
Following is the link to the KIN website where you can read the white paper and learn about the team if you are really interested in the plan behind the KIN ecosystem as whole (it’s an interesting read). KIN is a product of the team that created the KIK messenger app.
As always, thanks for reading!
