I want to share this interview with this amazing individual, Dan Larimer: co-creator/ founder of Steemit and BitShares, and now the ground-breaking platform, EOS.
Dan gives a concise and clear outline of some of Steemit's background and a broader explanation of blockchain technology in general. He then relates in back to his most recent contribution to the space, EOS. Important stuff.

I'd also like to say, I am far from a computer programmer, or even a professional "trader." But I do have some education, and half a brain, with which I am able to easily see that what is going on here is something quite special.

No other crypto I've come across (yet) seems to have its "shit together", as far as, not only producing an actual usable product, but, one that even I, a "layman" can half-ass understand. Now that's something. (Granted, actually using said product is a whole other thing--one Dan himself admits to being a relatively new and unexplored technology. But what it proposes is immense. Not to say other endeavors have not or are not producing similar projects. But because of my familiarity with Steemit, what I know of the space in general, added to what I've seen and heard with Dan, EOS appears to be an incredibly exciting project.)
