The People's Currency Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aiming to eliminate global poverty, is now distributing a Universal Basic Income, in the form of the cryptocurrency, Manna, to anyone who signs up for it.
Manna, formerly Grantcoin, was founded in 2015 as a cryptocurrency specifically designed to provide a Universal Basic Income across languages and national borders, under the ethos that everyone should have the right to an income, regardless of who they are.
The project is currently in its early stages of adoption, so the amount currently being distributed is small due to Manna's low valuation. But if the project catches on, it could evolve into a true, global, living wage. Already over 250,000 people have signed up, and it has support from several respectable figures, such as Scott Santens (moderator of r/BasicIncome) and Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang (https://twitter.com/AndrewYangVFA/status/999008268822499329).
Everyone who signs up receives a flat rate of Manna each week, which they can exchange for other currencies on any major crypto exchange. Further, you will be given an affiliate link and if anyone signs up through that link, they will receive extra Manna and so will you.
Here's my link: https://www.mannabase.com/?ref=c0c66ac470.
It requires nothing but 2 minutes of your time to sign up. Any other concerns you may have are answered on the website.
We all want to be free of the daily grind. UBI is unlikely to be adopted by governments anytime soon, so our best hope is through private philanthropy initiatives like Mannabase. Let's support them and each other!
