The Upfiring revolution

When I first found out about Upfiring it simply seamed like a way to keep files on the torrent network longer, which is not a bad thing. The amount of times I have wanted a torrent only to find out the seeds are either slow/unreliable or just non existent. Upfiring provides tokens for hosting and seeding the files, even if your not the author. I think most of us are guilty of not seeding, Upfiring offers us a reason to keep the data on the network for everyone else. So even then the most basic use of Upfiring will keep those files alive, dead seeds cant grow.

This platform has so much more to offer the world though, not only will files be seeded, business could have an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) before the file is sent via smart contracts. Once the contract is agreed, Upfiring is built to encompass the encryption of the file. The agreement of NDA would be kept on the block chain so no chance that data can be lost.

What about the artist that wants to distribute the project to others participating, especially with large projects with people agreeing to terms of smart contracts. Upfiring offers the ability to contract, exchange payment and to have a large decentralised file that would be time consuming to download P2P. If the user on the project wipes the data for some reason, not to worry, the data will be on the network as people actually have a benefit to seed and keep the data alive.

In the world of Wikileaks and ‘unnamed’ sources Upfiring could offer the world a way of storing and sharing data that would be nearly impossible to close down & people would want the data to stay alive (pun intended) for the possible gains. I know I look forward to the revolution of a type of torrent I can earn some crypto on and possibly ensure whistle blower information is kept alive along with the whistleblower.

Whistle blowers would have love to use a network such as this. The whistle blowers information would blend into the background of the other users. Data hiding among other traffic is one the easiest way to ensure the file is not even seen let alone decrypted. If you think about why the US government released Tor on the world, its cause its a great way to disguise your data. Put your important data in the crowd of other data, if data was sent over Tor and the government is only one who uses the network, the data can be found and methods to crack it open can start. The interceptor would know the data is important as its only used for one reason, to send something classified.

The world is calling out for project such as Upfiring, We need those whistleblowers to show us the world we really live in.
