and everything is NOT SIMPLE

the more you know, I wish I could say u build your computer and just have it run and you ride into the sunset and collect.

it is a time consuming, and you never know whats gonna happen

last post I talked about finding a location, startup cost, how to keep your room cool(which I should have gone more in depth)

BUT.... today we will go over

GETTING THE RIGHT PARTS cost per one rig

first thing first u need GPUs or acis script miners, but we will focus on GPU mining

get ur GPUs preferable first

Rx 580 8gb no less- the 4 GB version give less hash rate about 25 mh/s while 8gb gets 27-30 mh/s |cost-------- 350 dollars each
but 4gb is cheaper around 250 ish pay no more than that

• down side very difficult to find for the average person, if you are looking I can DM u a link, keep it a secret

+p106-100 which are GPUs built for one purpose mining they get 23 hash rate and can handle the heat trust they work in 120 F room, these are the most durable and use less electricity than the 580s only buy the 6gb version they run off Pascal architecture

• downside..... cost, sold in china and eastern Europe gotta buy them thru eBay and they can be cost more then they are worth. so unless u find a great deal wouldn't really pick these. also, resell value not as high as a regular 1060 GPU

here's a pic of a few I picked up

next are the regular gtx 1060 Asus 6gb just regular cards, can find them anywhere they go for 300 ish right now and you get about 19 mh/s - 21 m/hs depending on how good u can tweak them.

next is mother boards only one recommendation and that is

it has 12 slots for riser cards so u can hook up 12 GPUs, thus saving u money on parts
warning if ur not comfortable with setting up 12 GPUs as it is not a normal set go for 6 port version it's cheaper about 95 buck last I saw

the ram doesn't matter as long its 4 gbs, who cares get the cheapest option u can get. ram has nothing to do with mining \

next same as ram but for this mother board your gonna need 1151 chip set and get the cheapest version again all ur mining is in the GPUs, u only need the chip and ram to run your os system and the miner

whats a riser card they shady ass contraptions allow you to connect your GPUs to your mother board as they don't have enough slots for each GPU, they look like this

you can find way better deals online just look around.YOU will have a couple of risers that don't work and mess with ur system, weed they out fast. you can simply check your bios it will show which is having connection issues. so buy extras.

alright last but not least
you need PSU so make sure u get platinum rated GPU if u run 6 GPUs get 1200 watt version, the reason u wanna over kill it, is electricity efficiency, the heavier the load on your PSU the more energy u wast so in my opinion its better to spend extra on PSU then get a bronze version that waste 30 percent of you electricity to heat

so recap
GPU no more than 350 each and even then its overpriced cost 2100 for 6
ram any 4gb card price whatever cheapest cost 30
PCIe riser cards 7 dollars each cost 42 for 6
PSU platinum rated 1200 watt cost 290
motherboard 95 for normal biostar 6 port and 160 for 12 port; let say 6 port 95
TOTAL COST FOR ONE RIG ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2557 DOLLARS PER RIG. you can get it cheaper if you clever but try not to spend no more then this so u can make your initial investment back soon
