Google has implemented a change in their API that will in theory support cryptocurrencies. In theory, anyone that uses Google's Payment Request API can begin to accept bitcoin in their online stores. Sounds like mainstream acceptance is right around the corner...!

I think the bigger implication is what this can mean for the competition - amazon, apple, etc. Once google opens the door, others jump on board or get left behind.

Joking aside, yes - a serious shift could be coming to the crypto world as popularity ramps up. Maybe purse and paxful will take a hit, openbazaar might be dead in the water, can't tell anything yet though. As always, gotta stay on top of it and thanks for the heads up.
