99% (Almost) All Airdrops on X/Twitter are Scams!

I've seen lots of airdrops (coins give-aways) on X (previously called Twitter), for example:

I was curious, and then I PM this guy, and he asked me to send the ETH address over.

TLDR; These are too good to be true. PERIOD.

So, what is next? asking you for the permissions (authorization) to drain your account? If it is too good to be true, it probably is.
