I'm being reductive on purpose. In general I agree - they definitely aren't identical. Neither are bitcoin cash and litecoin. My point is that I think to replace the blue chip cryptos like ethereum and bitcoin in this space you need order of magnitude improvements and I don't see NEO with its lack of an operating system as an order-of-magnitude improvement on ethereum.
